Run for the Memory:

The Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter’s Run for the Memory program began in 2002, when a small group of individual runners approached the Alzheimer’s Association with their goal of completing the Boston Marathon while promoting awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and raising funds in support of programs and services.

Over the past 10 years, the program has grown from this single marathon endeavor to a year-round fundraising athletic program, collectively raising over $1,700,000! To date, Run for the Memory athletes have successfully completed the Boston, New York, and Chicago Marathons; the Cigna Falmouth Road Race; the Reach the Beach Relay; Boston’s Run to Remember, and the Max Performance Triathlon Series.

We invite individuals of all ages and abilities to join us by either participating as a runner, triathlete, or volunteer in one of our core races, or by supporting others that are MOVING for the cause. Please also contact us with new events that you would like to participate in on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association.
